California Accidental Release Prevention (CalARP)

CalARP is a California specific regulation almost identical to Federal Risk Management Plan (RMP). CalARP requires interaction with and submittal to the local regulating agencies. We develop CalARP compliant programs for our clients, and have a profound knowledge of the Unified Program (UP) of the local regulatory agencies and their submission requirements. As part of the CalARP program development, we conduct external events and seismic analyses.

Experience:

• Developed CalARP programs for more than 50 facilities in various industries and jurisdictions.
• For several large water utilities in Southern California, created an integrated program addressing PSM, RMP and CalARP.
